Center Console
Since the Land Cruiser doesn’t come with a factory-installed armrest, we had to look for alternative storage solutions. In the end, we opted for a console from Temu. It fits perfectly in terms of material and color with the existing plastic components. For a small price, it refreshes the interior nicely and adds a lot of practicality.
Plastic Floor Mats
Finding the perfect floor mats for our Land Cruiser GRJ76 was quite a challenge. Even German dealers that import this model often turn to Aliexpress for mats. The front mats fit almost perfectly, while the rear ones need a bit of work with a heat gun and additional Velcro strips on the bottom to hold them in place. Despite these small tweaks, they’re a worthwhile investment to keep the interior clean.
Magnetic Armrests
Honestly, it’s hard to think of a better interior upgrade for the Toyota. These armrests should be standard! They’re magnetically mounted and fit perfectly for resting your arm while driving, whether the window is open or closed. Plus, they include a cup holder, which is super convenient.
PVS Automotive MK3 Head Unit – 2DIN Radio
Anyone who knows us knows we’re obsessed with perfectly fitted products. The radio was no exception. The stock radio in the J7 is a disaster, and now we have everything we need—and more. From Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, to DAB radio and a ton of Android apps. It’s an expensive toy, but a fantastic one!
Cruiser Consoles Door Pocket
It’s hard to believe, but the stock Toyota J7 had no bass speakers. Thankfully, the door pockets from the Australian company Cruiser Consoles came to the rescue. These pockets not only provide storage space but also mounts for mid- and high-range speakers. The craftsmanship and fit are top-notch.
Land Cruiser J7 Speakers – Focal PS165V
Since we now have door pockets, it was time to install speakers. We chose the Focal PS165V model. They offer great sound quality at a reasonable price and look fantastic. We’ve used this model in several of our vehicles and can honestly recommend it.
Gear Shift Knob Set
When it comes to interior upgrades for the Land Cruiser, some parts can make the vehicle feel 20 years younger. That was the case with the shift knobs. We replaced the old, round, bulky ones with modern ones from PVS Automotive. Instantly, gear shifting became more enjoyable and the interior looks much better.
